This spa was designed with pure relaxation in mind. After a flood swept through the 6000 sf lower level of this home near Atlanta, GA, homeowners were referred to JDA to re-design and coordinate the renovation. Our scope included restoring the wine room, bar, tasting room, bathroom, guestroom, gamerooms, screening room, family room and fitness areas to their previous glory.
Among the many feature-rich areas requiring our attention was a home spa, that the owners found lacking. JDA created a signature spa, designed to provide our clients with an immersive & transformative experience.

Custom sourced, handmade quilted leather doors with knurled brass hardware welcome you to the experience. Black mica flake walls glint subtily in the color changing light as you walk into the space, leading you past refreshment stations and vanities to find the featured cast concrete and resin tub. Surrounded by custom american walnut walls framed out by the flat lighted floating ceiling, the user finds themselves isolated from the grating realities of everyday life.
Taking personalized wellness to the next level, the steam room features color therapy, a custom Vichy Hydrotherapy Experience, cold deluge and a bespoke barrel-vaulted glass mosaic ceiling. This one of a kind area is a true digital showering and steam experience, created with Kohler and Steamist, incorperating audio and fragrance elements as well.
However impressive all this may be, it's the double lighted, custom built Himalayan Salt walls creating the warm, enveloping glow that beckon the user to further explore. The second wall, backing up to the first, is inside the bespoke sauna with it's custom curved cedar benches and soft cove lighting, providing a unique halotherapy experience. JDA designed this one of a kind experience, blending top of the line technology with beautiful wood, leather, stone and natural quartzite slabs to create a refined design to stand the test of time.
