Responsibilities

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading and managing interior design projects of various scales and complexities. Your role will involve:

• Collaborating with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget.

• Creating comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.

• Producing detailed 2D and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent.

• Selecting and sourcing furniture, materials, finishes, and accessories.

• Overseeing and coordinating project teams, including junior designers and contractors.

• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

• Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Conducting site visits to assess progress and provide design guidance.

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the design process.

• Staying up-to-date with the latest interior design trends and innovations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience of at least 5 years as an Interior Designer, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.

• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, color theory, lighting, and space planning.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage design teams effectively.

• Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Project management experience with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Professional membership or certification in relevant design organizations is a plus.
